Gas cylinder prices reduced from today: On the first day of the month, June 1, LPG cylinder prices have come down heavily. Oil companies have given relief in LPG gas cylinder prices on June 1. As per the prices announced by the Government Oil Companies (OMCs), the price of a commercial gas cylinder has come down by Rs 83.
Reduction in LPG cylinder price:
The LPG cylinder price has directly reduced by Rs. 1773 for a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder. Earlier this cylinder cost Rs. 1856.50. However, domestic gas cylinders will be available at their previous prices.
Drop in Jet Fuel Prices:
Besides giving relief in commercial LPG cylinders, oil companies have also reduced the price of jet fuel (air fuel). The price has come down by around Rs. 6,600 has been kept. This reduction could potentially impact air travel in the future.
Implementation of new rates:
New rates of gas cylinders and jet fuel have been implemented from June 1. However, oil companies have not changed the price of domestic LPG cylinders. Consumers in capital Delhi will still have to pay Rs 1,103 for a domestic cylinder as before.
