What is an income pattern?
A government certificate confirming your total income for the financial year, called an income slip, is the official proof of your income when you submit supporting documents as required by government rules. Also called income certificate.
Documents required for income proof
Address proof (any one is mandatory):
- Ration card
- Electricity bill
- Water Bill (not older than three months)
- Gas connection
- Bank Passbook
- Post Office Account Statement / Passbook
- Driving license
- Government Photo ID Cards / Service Photo Identity Card issued by Public Sector Undertakings (PSU).
Identity Proof (anyone is mandatory):

- PAN card
- Identity card issued by a recognized educational institution

How to apply offline to submit proof of income?
First of all, you have to collect all the necessary documents for the income statement, you have to go to the Taluka Panchayat or Mamlatdar office and take the form for the income statement from there, fill the required details in the form and attach it with all the related documents and deposit it there, and then Then the staff there will check all your documents and take your photo and after coining your signature in it you will be given your income proof shortly.

STEP 1 : First visit the Digital Gujarat website to apply for income statement online. https://www.digitalgujarat.gov.in/
STEP 2 : After that please click on “Login” option on the right corner of the page for registration.
STEP 3 : Then click on “Click For New Registration (Citizen)”.
STEP 4 : After that fill the registration form and click on “Save”.
STEP 5 : After that enter the received OTP in the textbox and click on “Confirm”.
STEP 6 : Now after successful registration, click on “Request a New Service”.
STEP 7: After that click on “Income Certificate”.
STEP 8 : Now read the instructions and guidelines carefully and after that click on “Continue to Service”.
STEP 9 : After that your Request ID and Application Number will be generated. Please mark it as a good place as you remember it, and then mark it and click “Continue”.
STEP 10: After that fill the details of the applicant and click “Next”.
STEP 11: After that the business details and income details section also has to be filled. Then click “Next”.
STEP 12: Then upload your documents.
STEP 13 : After your application is successfully submitted you can take a print of your application form and then you can process further by paying the money online.
STEP 14 : After that you will get an SMS on your mobile for your application status.
STEP 15 : Once the application process is completed, the applicant should use the application number to get the certificate using the downloaded document option.
