Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana: Under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) registered construction workers falling in the age limit of 18 to 50 years who are affiliated to this scheme can avail life insurance cover of Rs 2 (two) lakhs in case of normal death.
Pursuant to which a new matter regarding Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana has been approved to provide an insurance cover of Rs.

Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana – Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) – Terms and Conditions :
The registered construction worker has to apply in the prescribed form and within the prescribed time limit in the bank account of the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana auto debit/deducted receipt along with copy of bank pass book and other necessary supporting evidence within six months from the date of premium auto debit in the bank account ( Online/Offline)
The premium amount will be reimbursed directly to the bank account through DBT once every year to the registered construction workers.
The applicant must fill all the details in the application form completely accurately otherwise the application of the applicant will not be considered valid.

The application form has to be filled in the prescribed format.
An up-to-date copy of the Construction Labor Identity Card that has been renewed
436/- Receipt of premium paid or bank statement of date of premium paid
Details of bank account where PMJJBY scheme is opened
Attested copy of beneficiary’s Aadhaar card
Passport size photograph of the beneficiary
Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana : Procedure
The application has to be submitted at the district office of Gujarat Building and Other Construction Labor Welfare Board within six months from the date of auto debit of the premium amount in the bank account by the beneficiary.
After verification and validation of the application, the assistance will be reimbursed directly to the beneficiary’s bank account through DBT.
The application has to be entered offline/online.
The District Project Manager and District Inspector of the application by the District Office will have to verify the original application and supporting evidence and process approval/rejection.
The approved applications are sent to the head office for approval by the District Project Manager and Inspector along with the recommendation for approval along with the planning certificate, details of the beneficiary.
If no defect is found on verification by the head office, a postal order should be submitted on the file for sanctioning the assistance.
Once the postal order is approved, the assistance amount will be reimbursed directly through DBT to the bank account of the assistance beneficiary.
