Shri Vajpayee Bankbal Yojana
Shri Vajpayee Bankbal Yojana: Gujarat government has introduced a new scheme for cottage industry workers. The scheme provides financial assistance to cottage industry artisans. Gujarat has started this scheme in memory of our respected former Prime Minister Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This scheme is known as “Shri Vajpayee Bankable Scheme 2023”. The scheme focuses on equipping the unemployed youth of the states. Aim to promote entrepreneurship skills and help them become financially self-sufficient with their own projects.
SHRI VAJPAYEE BANKABLE YOJANA: A scheme to provide financial loans / assistance to cottage industry artisans through nationalized banks, co-operative banks, public sector banks, private banks.
( 1 ) Purpose : – Under This Scheme The Intention Is To Provide Self Employment To The Unemployed Persons In Urban And Rural Areas Of Gujarat. People With Disabilities Or Blind People Will Also Be Able To Avail The Benefits Of This Scheme.
(2) Eligibility of the Scheme:
- Age: 18 to 65 years
- Educational Qualification: Minimum Class-4 (Four) Pass OR
Training / Experience: Minimum 3 months training from appropriate private institution for profession or minimum one month training from Government recognized institution OR One year relevant experience in profession or heritage artisan should
- Bank maximum limits by borrowers:
There is no income limit.
(1) Maximum 8 lakhs for industrial sector.
(2) Maximum 8 lakhs for service sector.
(3) Maximum 8 lakhs for business sector.
(4) Rate of assistance on loan amount: The rate of assistance for industry, service and trade sector under this scheme will be as follows.
